HELP Glow plugs replaced low power

Ok so I just replaced all 8 glow plugs in my 2001 f-250 4wd, I did it by the book removed batteries first, did the drivers side then the passenger. I double checked all connections on everything, made sure fittings were tight and installed the batteries. Idle sounds great and no more blue smoke all old glow plugs would not ohm compaired to the new ones I installed about .06 ohms on the new ones. Well now I have to baby the clutch, there is a power loss through all gears and I can tell there is a change in the engine sound while driving. Any help would be greatful.

Had the codes pulled and p1316 (#1 injector open) showed up. I took the valve cover off and BAM! #1 injector plug was off, put everything back together and no engine light and power is back. Thanks goes out to the ford diesel mech for pulling the code on his saturday off.
