Look at my uvc harness real quick. What to do?

Pulled passenger side valve cover and it looks like the locking tab for the uvch is completely broken off. Does this mean I have to buy a new wire harness? My dealer has one right now, how hard are they to put in? hopefully you can see this pic. I am guessing I can't do the .50 cent mod on this one. Thanks

Went ahead and replaced the entire harness. 80 bucks from the dealer. Not that hard to do

I read at some point they sell some clip to help hole the connection together better.

They do sell a wedge, to do the exact same thing that the 50 cent mod does. difference is, its a plastic wedge that retails for about 15 bucks... EACH.

50 cents vs 30 bucks, you do the math.

Yeah I know, in this case because the locking tab was completely broken there was no way to fix it either way

I didn't see this thread and when I read your other post I figured this was the issue. Do you still have the other harnesses? If you do I will pay for postage. Mine have been broken for years, nothing wrong with them and they stay nice n tight. If you don't want the old ones let me know. I will make sure they go to someone who appreciates the break. FYI you did good on the pricing, but IH sells them for $28.50 per side.
