electrical problem

i have an 2002 f250 7.3 power stroke,having an issue ..... the headlights on auto, they blink off and on, also the door locks will operate when you step on the brakes,the lights operate randomly, no code,not sure if it would have a code ?
any ideas ???

Check battery terminal connection? Other than that check the relays under your steering wheel, if they are clicking on and off sounds like the relay connection is going out, and its not holding the connection closed.

THANKS! Now that you mention it, I heard the relays clicking and I will check that right now. Thanks again! I will let you know if it makes a difference.

hey phil,the clicking noise is coming from a box up behind the radio,has three large plugs connecting to it ?

i think its the vehicle security modual thats making the clicking noise

I had the same problem, i ended up having water getting into my fuse box and it corroded up and i ended up having to go to the dealer and buying a new fuse box because of all the corrision.
