Starter from 00 different from 02?
Had a 02 excursion 7.3 and replaced the starter on it, now sent gf in to autozone to get a starter for my 00 f250 7.3 and I guess they reference my excursion? Anyways the starter she brought me only has two bolts to hot it in place and is about 20% shorter than what came out of the truck.
So are they supposed to be different or did the guy at the counter get me the wrong starter? |

There's two different ones a two bolt and three bolt. Two bolt is a lot shorter and is easier to install. They both work the same way and seem to last about the same.
