trailer light problem
hey guys when ever i hook up to my stock trailer all the lights work except the night lights. when ever i turn my head lights on none of the side or tail lights work. i thought this was a trailer problem but when i hook it up to my buddies everything works. Is this a fuse problem that runs those lights? or possible wiring problem? thanks

If everything works on your buddys truck, I would be checking out the plug on my truck.
These things can be a lot of fun, good luck. Doug |

The pigtail on my truck always messes up. I unplug it clean it up and put it back and it works for a while.

According to this link (Online owners manual):
http://www.motorcraftservice.com/pub.../02f23og5e.pdf Page 162 - Fuse panel (behind the panel underneath the steering wheel at your knees) Page 163 - Fuse 38 (20A) - Trailer tow park lamps and backup lamps I always say go for the easy stuff first. Check the fuse, it could save you time tearing apart the plug. |
