hpop/ebpv rod/ pedestal orings... look on top of your motor in the valley and look for oil near the front, if there is its your hpop, if its dry then its the pedestal orings or the ebpv rod(mines deleted, another reason to dump that pos)

Replacement O-rings for Ford Diesel Engines
Price is for the install kit, if that gives you an idea of what the O rings will cost...not much. I cant find the thread on gutting the pedistol. But it pretty much consist of popping the snap ring off of the back of the housing, removing the plunger and rod, threading the hole from where the rod stuck out, plug the hole. reinstalling the backing plate and snap ring, reinstalling the pedistol and turbo. |

I have a headache, what is causing it? lol!!!
Most common sources for oil leaks on a 7.3 are the O rings on the high pressure oil lines, turbo pedestal o rings, and saturated boots that have dripped oil into the valley and down the back of the block. CCV Mod will cure the later. Another common issue is where the dipstick enters the pan on the pass side. Don't use the IH kit to fix this, there are better options that I have learned. My bet is the HPO line O rings or dipstick O ring. |

I dont want to thread jack but I have oil only one the drivers side of the engine...any idea there? I just did the ccv mod so Ill see of that changes anything, but it seems like its coming from the top back end of the engine and running down. However my oil level is always full and doesnt change...
