4WD doesn't work
Well I put my truck in a tight spot this weekend, and I thought I would use the 4 wheel drive to back out well I turned the know the light came on but no 4x4. I have center caps over the hubs so I couldn't manually lock them in. I hear that there is a sensor that goes out one in the turn know for the 4x4. I don't know anything about and I am searching for answers as to why the
4x4 won't work. |

Maybe a vacuum leak not letting the hubs engage? Good luck to ya. Check your lines going to hubs make sure no cracks and such.

I would remove those centercaps, and then lock the hubs in and then try your 4wd again. If it does not work when you manually lock the hubs in then it is something with the transfercase actuator. If it works with the hubs manually locked in then it most likely is a vaccuum problem with the auto locking hubs.
