ABS LIGHT STAYS ON
2002 psd 4x4 abs light stays on. the speedo works just fine. I checked the sensor on the rear diff and it looks fine and tight ... wtf is wrong >?

get the code pulled , speedo can work and still turn light on, or it could be a front wheel speed sensor

autozone wont pull code bc their machine cant get it ... they said and I made them try. As for the sensors I checked the rear and the front 2...
If i am not mistaken, the front 2 go into the caliper (i didnt take the wheel off to check them, I just looked at their connection). When i had work done on the bearing on the drivers front, it looked like the mechanic did not string the abs line back the same way as the truck comes with , so I wired it back to default with it clipped in on the rubber flap. Anywhere I can get codes pulled free ffs ?

same problem
I had the same problem. The light would come on occasionally, sometimes for seconds, sometimes for more than an hour. When I took it to the dealer they said there was no code stored. I asked the obvious question -- if the light comes on, should it always throw a code? Answer: Yes. Go figure.

how do i check the front sensors because I am pretty sure its the drivers side front sensor.
am I able to take the sensor off without taking the wheel off even? or do i have to take the wheel off and then unbolt the sensor from the back without taking off the hub. please shed some light on my problem.
