Cranks right up but smokes till she is driving and its warmed up. But if it sits at idle for a while (10 min. or so) to warm up it will still smoke.

She had it scanned and they said its her #8 injector. Which is a special injector??? I thought they were all the same?

Any thoughts

there was a "crackle" coming from the number eight injector in the older 7.3s so they made it longer to prevent this from happening.
