Diesel Surge

Ford Excursion: New To Diesels Here. Last few weeks noted surge in 7.3L Engine When Going about 35-45 mph. It appears to idle fine and I do not notice it when I go faster. It lasts less then a second and continues to do it in that power range
Based on a gas engine I would think it was probally dirty fuel inectors.
I've checked for water in fuel, changed the filter and tried other fuel stations.
If it is dirty injectos what do I used to clean them?
Does anybody have an idea what it might be?
