Bunch of Symptoms - Any Ideas?
2001 7.3 Excursion. So when I'm starting to get low on fuel (basically light just came on and digital readout says 45 miles until empty) the truck spits a sputters like maybe its not getting enough fuel. A small amount of blue smoke also starts coming from the exhaust. As soon as I gas up, it goes away.
This has happened like 3 different times all when gas was starting to get low. Could there be something in my tank that only rears its ugly head when fuel is low, or maybe my fuel gauge sensor is going bad, and I have less gas than advertised? Thanks in advance. |

I'm guessing your fuel gauge is a litte inaccurate.
