Question Glow Plugs?

Hey guys i have what i suspect is bad glow plugs on my early 99

I checked the relay and it has 12v's going to the one terminal all the time, and none to the other terminal you turn the key on and the other terminal gets 12v's also and turns off after a minute or two with a click.

When plugged in or after it has only sat for an hour or two it will fire right up and when cranking the tachometer is showing rpms so no CPS

Does this sound like glow plugs to you guys? and also could is there any way to check glow plugs without pulling the valve covers off?

Thanks a lot guys, im trying to get this fixed before my job interview tomorrow

there is a thread on this in the 7.3 general disc. you can pull the connector on the valve covers and test the pins to each gp.
