hesitation while driving
Hi, and thanks in advance for any help you might can provide! I have a 1999 F-350 Super Duty Power Stroke Diesel with the 7.3 liter engine with 6 speed manual transmission 4X4. This is the problem i can be driveing down the road and all of the sudden it will shut down. then it will jump start its self and keep going. or i have to shut the truck down and restart it while going 65+ mph down the road. i thought i had fixed the problem by runnig out a tank of fuel adding some seefoam stuff and changing the fuel filter. it was running great for about a week now it is doing it again. also a check engine light will come on but it wont store any code. i have about 147,000 miles and it has been a great truck. no problems really just wear items. so any ideas of a what it is or a way to fix it

Welcome to Powerstroke.org ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Your problem sounds like a classic CPS issue. Check this link: 7.3 Cam sensor replacement procedure |
