Diesel leak

Ok when I turn my heater or ac on I can smell diesel but theres never any of it on the ground when I park does anyone have any ideas

I also seem to have a fuel leak that I cannot find. I have noticed over the last couple of months if I let my truck idle for any period of time there is a strong smell of diesel. The last couple of weeks I have started noticing it just sitting at a red light. I cannot see any leaks and replaced the fuel filter a couple of weeks ago in case it was leaking there. Are there any known problems spots I can look or any tricks that can help me locate the leak? I have also noticed my MPG’s have dropped about 4 MPG. Thank you in advanced for any help.

Check the seal on the fuel filter. Bad seal or wrong lid.

pull the beauty cover off and look down around the fuel bowl area , probably see fuel in the valley as well.
