4 post starter solenoid
Has anyone had any issue with the four post starter solenoids sold by autozone and napa
I have the autozone one, and My starter randomly engages whilst truck is running. I need to solve this before all the teeth on my starter are shredded any ideas? thanks

It could be your solenoid, or your key switch or a wire rubbed through somewhere you really need to get in there in and start chasing wires to determine where your problem is

well, i unplugged the little wire from my fender solenoid today after starting and had no issues with the starter engaging. Any ideas?

|
disconnect your trans range sensor and look for corrosion or moisture. I've seen this a few times.

the big black sensor with the rectangular plug where the shift cable hooks up.
