Angry exhaust back pressure valve

Was wondering how to clean the ebpv on my truck. It beens really cold and when i start it up it is opening and closing constanly and making alot of noise. It warms up for 15 minutes and as soon as i start driving the valve opens and closes while im driving, makes alot of high compressed air noises(got a 4 inch exhaust with muffler). is it bad to drive if it is doing this?. Every time i park and restart my truck it has to warm up for forever for it to not do that. idk what i should do, help me out if you can thank you!

Yeah if it stops when you punch it/let off or hit the brake then that would be normal.

yeah man your fine.. most people will tell ya to delete it or unhook it and wire it up. i kinda enjoy it, everyone is like wtf when they hear it haha

there is a way to clean it, i'll have to find the thread..

ahh couldn't find it.. you can spray some lube on the valve and help it some if it is sticking..

check out this thread for some info maybe..

Im having the same issue, but it just hovers at speed with no power and drives me nuts, as it does it everytime I drive it. Will have to dig into it this weekend.
