not a whole lot guys. i have had some serious problems with my 99. i put new pistons, rings and connecting rods in my motor last march. after i started it like 6 times it developed a loud ticking sound coming off the driver-side. replaced the head and the sound stopped. well i thought it stopped but then the noise transferred to the passenger side. its been at g&r for six months now. i am already into the engine and torque converter 8000.00. so on Friday i am going down and getting the truck back. do you guys know what that sound could be? could it be a bad head? i need my truck back and running before next Friday.

I would have it scaned and the injectors contribution and buzz tested. Sounds like an injector to me.
