Electrical problem??
Seems that I'm having some sort of electrical issues. Wed. afternoon my truck wouldn't start, no lights no juice, like dead batteries. I noticed a clicking sound coming from the fuse panel from the flasher relay. I unplugged that and it started fine. When the clicking was happening the interior lights and hazard were dimly blinking with the clicking.
Bought a new relay at NAPA and put it in when I got home, truck sat overnight and started fine Thurs AM, and it started every time after that Thursday. This morning I go out and it's acting like dead batteries again. I pull the new relay out, still nothing. Threw the charger on it set to jump start and it fired right up. What the heck would cause this? Thanks. Also, possibly related, my passenger side battery always has corrosion on both terminals. A little bit shows on the drivers side one. Both are a year or so old, same with the alternator. |

Take the batts out charge them individually then test them individually, and clean everything really well and seal with batt sealant and try that

Thanks for the reply.
I cleaned off the terminals and cable ends, topped off the cells that were a little low with distilled water and have it charging now. hope that's all it is. |

That seems to have done it, guess the connections were too crudded up. Starts great since then, sounds like new batteries it cranks so good.
