Driving to Lead Hill, AR
Was able to get a cancelation for Dec 3rd.
Trans was slipping when using good power up the hills when towing, that wont happen after the 3rd!! Was hoping the stock trans would last longer, but knew it was only time. Now the power will get to the tires instead of make ing heat in the TC. |

Sweet! How many miles do you have on the truck? Is the trans all stock right now?

Only about 125k, but lots of towing. Put at least 6K of heavy towing for the last
4 years. Yes, tranny is currently all stock. Detected it was slipping when I was about 1000 miles from home. Turned down the power and changed the fluid (it was dark and burnt with 30k on the fluid). Could still make it slip with the new fluid. Got it 1200 miles back home towing, fluid changed color slightly. |
