Turn signal problem...

Okay so the left turn signal if you just hit it down like you would normally do the green light doesn't come on and it clicks super fast, yes i know light out right? no the back light is flashing super fast but front one isn't on.. yet if you just hold the switch down like before it locks the turn signal on they both work perfect and if you slowly press it down from there it works sometimes... seems like a problem in the switch but dont wanna have to take it to the shop if its something simple.

Anybody know?

Normally when one light works and the other doesn't then you have a burned out bulb. Not sure in your case but would check bulbs for starters

my 05 did the same thing except that when it was blinking fast you could not see the outside lights flashing at all. I replaced the turn signal switch on the steering wheel and all was good again

Yeah they are really easy to replace(less then half hour). And yes it comes as the whole assembly. Just be careful that you don't break the tabs on the connectors that plug into the switch.

Yea it only took about 15 min to swap. If I remember right it was 3 screws for the cover and 2 to remove the switch and 2 plugs on the switch. The plugs are the hardest part as you don't want to break the tabs. I found my switch on ebay for a great price.
