Got my F 250 today problems?

My truck was delivered today, after start up smokes real heavy smells rich blows smoke, & misses. a very little blow by out of oil cap nothing to heavy. whats my next move. 2 codes were pulled before I got truck 278 & 284

2002 7.3 mileage unsure takes about 10 seconds to start after cranking

I would start by testing the glow plug relay and glow plugs . Do a search and there are plenty of threads on how . Does it start good when at normal operating temp ? Also how are the batteries and connections . Voltage issues cause a ton of problems on our trucks .

Those codes are cylinder 6 and cylinder 8 contribution. Could be injectors, wiring, pistons, valves, anything really. Gotta start narrowing it down.
