very urgent! need help!!
ok so what do you guys think this is...I'm stranded in a parking lot trying to figure this out. My 03 f250 started leaking fuel by the gallon almost! I was sitting at a stoplight and started smelling strong diesel fuel. Looked out the window and had a huge puddle on the ground. Pulled off to a restaurant and it continued to pour out until I shut the motor off. Most of the concentration of fuel comes from the fuel bowl area. I replaced the fuel filter about 3 months ago and never bd an issue with it leaking. I just put my dp tuner on a week ago so I wonder if it just built up pressure going through the tunes or what.....?
Help would be appreciated!...cause I'm stranded with my crackberry haha |

check your fuel line that runs by your oil pan on the drivers side the fuel line is held to gather by a clamp mine came loose and i had a trail of diesel from my house all the way to the shop. you need a special pair of pliers to clamp it back into place hope this helps.

Check the lever on the back of the fuel bowl. It should be pressed up against the bowl which is the closed position.

check the fuel regulator on the right side of bowl also, they have a spring inside which likes to break & the o-rings go south too.
regardless the bowl has a few o-rings that occasionally just let go good luck |

Check the water in fuel drain. Orings probably gave out

When you don't have access to the right parts and the fuel/water drain is leaking you can take it off and flip the orings over, I have done this on 3 different truck and had it stop the leak.
