NO STEERING
Anyone ever gotten into their truck, started it up, and had no steering? The wheel just spins. The brakes are acting normal, so it's not the pump, right? Thinking the gearbox crapped out? Or is there a link in the column that could have failed?

I would guess rag joint or gearbox but i'll let someone more experienced chime in.

Found out what the problem was: snapped steering gearbox output shaft....
New gearbox from Ford: $225 Last edited by Cards02; 09-24-2010 at 08:58 AM.
