Fuse Question

I have a 99 f-350 7.3l. the little monitor in the head liner that says miles per gallon and all of that isnt working. i looked at it and dont see anything wrong with it. i guess its a fuse but i dont know what fuse it would be. does anyone know which fuse # it is. maybe im missing it or something cuase a couple of fuses arent there. it didnt come with a owners maunel when i bought it a couple of months ago. thanks.

Just get a test light and check all the fuses

A common problem with these units are the chips inside the console, You can do a search on them, and there have been a few threads discusing this problem, I have to get going, or I would try to find them for you. If you have no luck, I will see what I can find when I get back. Good luck.

PS.. search button at top of page, put in overhead console, console etc.

thanks guys if i cant solve it i have a warranty on it so ill just take it back up there

If you just want to check the fuse it is number 19 and it is a 10 amp. This fuse is in the box inside the cab. Hope this helps and gooooood luck.

hey thanks i checked out the fuse and number 19 has a 5 amp in it and it seems like im missing a couple of fuses in other spots. humm i duno but thanks anyways. i took a 10 amp from somewhere else and put it there and nothing happend.
