Battery Light

I have a co-worker with a 2003 7.3 excursion. Intermitently he will get a battery light. I put a voltmeter and my auto enginuity and it says its putting out 14.08 volts. Is this enough voltage for charging? If it is what can cause this? From what I have read, it seems everything is pointing to the alternator, which is a reman. Ideas?

It needs to be at least 13-13.5 volts. Have him turn the headlights on high, A/C on and radio and then see what the voltage is.
