Well long story short I was at a track event at Road Atlanta, when taking my lil'sis around the infield the truck starts to bog out and shuts off! pop the hod open take a quick pick around and found a swimming pool of oil in the middle of the engine...
After filling back up with oil it ran but oil will be pouring out the back of the HPOP, so after a little research find out that Replacement O-rings for Ford Diesel Engines
sells all the gaskets for the 17* pump and had some nice PDF files to get the job done right!
Called in order as much as I could, i even got the fuel bowl kit and the screen gasket for the reservoir tank.
Truck runs awesome, I had to drive it about 40 miles to get all the air pockets out, but now starts even better that before...
Mad props to Bob, I had a couple of questions and he was there to help me thru the process; m options were to send it off to CA to get it rebuilt, or buy a remaf at the local diesel shop for $550, I'm glad I took the time off and went with dieselorings.com
