service engine light

i need help figuring this one out. when im driving down the road i sometimes get my service engine light and my truck starts running as if a few cylinders arent firing. or like the timing is off? but if i turn the truck off and then back on it runs normal. and then a couple days later it will do it again. any ideas??

Check it for codes and see which cylinders are misfiring. I'm betting you are having an issue with the harnesses under the valve cover on one side

What's the info on your truck? Year? Engine? Mods? Might be able to help you with that info man. I'm gonna guess it's a 7.3L since it's in the 7.3 Section...but try checking out the CPS first and go from there. Definitely wanna get the codes pulled if you can get a good scan tool hooked up to it. Probably one NOT from AutoZone or anything like that...they don't usually pull codes off these trucks for some reason...

Google those numbers It's the Greatest resource for codes (skip the first one, 603 just means the batteries were disconnected at some point)
