Question Interior Instrument Panel Failure

Hey Guys,

I'm not really sure where to post this, but I guess the Problems thread will do. I'm having a problem that I can't figure out. I can't seem to get my overhead instrument panel to come on. The panel that tells you your MPG/Compass/Temp/etc... the bottons "mode" and whatever the other one is, light up at night when I turn my console lights on and such, but the LCD Screen won't come on...

Is there a fuse for this? If so, where? I've checked all of mine (the fuses), and they all seem to be fine. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Wow! Thanks! My buddy was just telling me that he bets some components came off of the circuit board due to faulty soldering! I'll have to tell him that he was right! Hopefully this fixes the problem... I'll try it out next weekend and then I'll let you know!

Yeah, so I kinda forgot about responding back to this thread... All I did, was give it one good smack, and the instrument panel came on-no prob. However, I know that this is a temporary fix, so I'll need to get into the circuit and fix the busted relays... but for now, it's working fine!
