What is this? Just noticed it

i found this when i was looking through my engine and i dont know what its for. this connector plugs into a plastic piece that goes nowhere. anyone?

If its by your intake its the IAT sensor. DO you have a DIY or aftermarket intake in the truck?

looks to be passenger side with the coil in that picture

It's on the passenger side by the starter solenoid.
