might be cps. Not stating it is but could be. My 1st powerstroke would kinda do that. Would be cruising down the road and it would cut out for a second then run fine. Would only do it about every 200 miles.

Are you using your chip when it does it, or does it do it on stock too?

I'm new to the forum. This looks like an excellent site to get some help. I'm having trouble with my 99 F-350 psd. This my 2nd powerstoke. The 1st was a94, an excellent truck,it had 329,000 mi on it when I traded. This 99 has 90,000 mi. I've had the truck about 4 weeks. Last week it Sputtered coughed and died in heavy traffic, and the ses light came on. I finally got it to start and chugged to a parts store. They scanned it and no codes. Changed fuel and air filter, started and ran fine. 2 days later same thing. I replace the cps.
Started and runs fine. Except now if its raining the truck will cut out like somebody cuts the fuel off. I've checked everything I can think of as far as making sure all the connections are tight. other than maybe the truck wants to move to the desert any suggestions?

Sounds just like my truck dang thing i'll be cruisin and it'll just burp and every time i'm confused as hell. Today i was sitting idling and it just died for a sec then picked right back up again. Hmmmm wonder if its the cps? I know the symptoms sound the same it only does it once a week or not even once every two weeks or so too.
