Got a question...

Okay I have a 02 F250 4x4 7.3L power stroke and when I drive the truck i hear a knocking noise while driving not consistent with engine speed though... I am thinking my left wheel hub because I hear it on the left side I'm not sure if my hub is locked or what... Aren't these wheel hubs vacuum sealed? Does anyone know if that seal is broken if it will create knocking noise or any other idea's?

The hubs on the SD's are very prone to failure. You may want to invest in some Warn hubs. not sure about the vacuum.

mine is doing the same thing now and if i jack it up with the hub installed it clicks locked or in the auto position, but if i pull it out and spin it i have no noise so your probably having the same problems i am, im just going to get some warn hubs and call it a day and yes they are vaccum assisted if in the auto position but if you get a leak just lock them in

mine use to do that sometimes and it ended up being swaybar bushings and swaybar endlinks fixed mine, so check yours for any extra play or wear
