icp bad?

Can you test the icp sensor? it idles smooth with it unplugged, but rough when plugged in. no cel when plugged in, though. they're nearly $200 from the dealer, and i doubt they'll take it back once it's been installed

That pretty much IS the test. I've found 'em on ebay for around $65.

if your thinking about buying a used sensor on ebay check out your local junk yard especialy if there is a pull and save in your area... here there is one and the local elegal imigrants are buying sensors from the local pull and save for around $2 and selling them for as an example the icp sensor for $65 on ebay... one you could be saving grose amounts of money pulling one your self and two you may be contributing to the prosperity of some one that is not suposed to be in our country any ways. not to sound like a biggot here but that is one of the sickening realities to buying used parts off ebay.

sounds to me like a bad ICP too...but the only real way to test it properly is to monitor it with a higher dollar scan tool to see what everything is doing..
