After I went home yesterday I did some exploring and found out what you guys just said. I didn't realize these things had an electronic throttle. Is the pedal assembly a pretty expensive replacement? Also while I was down there exploring, I found a micro switch behind the go pedal similar to what you would see with a nitrous kit. Is that factory? |

The 97 I just bought from the city water and lighting side has a micro switch on the pedal, kinda like the brake light switch on the brake pedal.
So I wouold say it's factory unless the city is putting propane or nitrous on the work trucks! Where do you get a TPS or pedal assembly? Can you replace just the sensor? |
