Weird leaking problem

i am almost positive my water/fuel drain valve is leaking, i drained some fuel for the first time (previous owner did not, 276k miles on it) and it seems to only leak when i let it idle a bit. it just drips, if i go it seems to stop dripping, and it doesnt drip when it is off. anyone know what could be the problem?

I would just replace it... There only like 30 bucks.
You can try to put new seals in it but i never had any luck with the rebuilds..

It's a common problem you can buy the kit from for ford or you can get the o-rings off e-bay you need 2 o-rings #202 Viton & 1 o-rings #013 Viton. The min, order is quan. of 25 each. It will cost you about $11.oo total. Viton is the material of the o-ring it's for diesal & high heat. There is a video back on this web.site that shows you step by step how to install them, I watched the video last week .
