7.3L Starting Problem
Im Having A Problem With My 2001 F250 7.3L. I've Checked The Batteries, Starter, And The Solenoid On The Right Fender. When I Turn The Key To Start I Can Hear The Solenoid On The Fender Click But The Starter Dosn't Do Anything. I Was Wondering If There Was A Relay That Energizes Both The Starter And The Solenoid?

Don't Trust Auto Parts Store
On Day Three I Had A Freind Come Over And Help Me Trouble Shoot The Problem. I Took A Voltmeter To The Starter Solenoid And It Was Only Getting 8 VDC Across The Terminals. I Then Took The Starter To A Different Auto Parts Store To Get Tested. There Computer Testing Machine Said The Same Thing, The Starter Was Good. But When The Staff Member And I Listened To The Way It Ran It Sounded Very Bad. I Got A New Starter And Installed It, What Do Ya Know I'm Back To Makin' Black Smoke Agian! I Guess The Moral Of The Story Is Don't Trust The Auto Parts Store
