Filter drain o-ring leak or something else?

IF you have time I would remove the housing and replace both the drain valve, both O-rings on the water-in-fuel/fuel bowl heater plug, and all 4 fuel line sleeves to save you any problems in the future.

If you need a quick fix until you can get the o-rings, remove the drain valve, flip the o-rings the other way and install the drain valve again. I ran like that for 2 weeks til I replaced them with no leaks.

You can go to e-bay and buy the o-rings that you need to do is repair #202 Viton you only need 2 but they come in packs of 25 it will cost you $5.50 total, you may also need 1 other o-ring #013 Viton for the same price . Viton is made for diesal and high heat, I leared this on this web site . There is a video on how to do this job back on this web site. snook2020
