Does a Resistor mod Make it harder to start in the Cold?

because im having problems this year in the cold as to compared to last year. Now it only starts if the truck has beem plugged in all nite and still then it has problems starting. I know i have a fuel leak when its cold out, I wonder if im getting air in my lines making it harder to start after letting it sit for 2 days?

Thanks guys

I never had any trouble starting mine with the mod. Of course where I'm at, it seldom gets under 30 degrees.

Adjusting the ICP won't put air in your lines. You have a different problem

Probably related to the glow plug system

got my truck back and they changed my fuel filter out as it was so clogged that it leaked lol. They also changed my oil as it was low and black (rotella syn) and am wondering why it was low as i never went through oil with Mobil 1 syn. They also checked my truck out with a computer plugged in and it had no codes and glow plugs were fine. One of my batteries was also loose on the terminal causing my truck to crank slower... so fixing that also made it crank a **** ton faster (custom starter) fixing my starting issues.

My truck now runs SOO much smoother I'll know tom morning for sure if it cured my problems as this morning in -10c it started with ease

I'll keep you guys posted

UPDATE:

Went outside and the truck fired up right away and the temp outside is -8c.
