Radiator/Transmission Line Fitting

I finally was able to replace the radiator and water pump yesterday as well as do a complete flush and replace with an elc and I have a small leak where both the transmission lines go into the otw cooler inside the radiator. The hard lines go into a fitting which goes into the radiator. The new radiator came with the brass fittings however no matter how tight I get the fittings there is still a small leak. Has anyone had this problem before? The only solution I see is to wrap the threads with teflon tape. Even then I don't know if it will work. Any help would be appreciated.
