CCT Failure, no boost & smoke! Please Help

Hey all,
my '02 is acting up, I ran a CCT and it threw 2 codes one for #3 and one for #8 cylinder balance/fault.

Second, when it's cold outside (-20) the engine makes no boost unless I have it at WOT and revs get to about 2300, then the boost jumps to normal levels. I s something sticking or is a sensor bad??

Third, recently when starting in the morning she smokes quite a bit for about 5 minutes, this just starting happening in the last couple of months, It wasnt gradual, it just starting smoking one day.

The injectors were all replaced about 7000 miles ago, the truck has 80,000miles on it and the fuel economy is in the toilet.

My question??? Are all of these issues related? Is it a bad injector or two? Sensor or something else?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know what the cylinder balance/fault is.

Have you plugged the block heater in at night? With it that cold, it might help.

The no-boost thing could be the EBPV hasn't opened yet causing back pressure. By going to WOT and getting the RPMs up, you're probably forcing it open to allow normal exhaust flow.

Have you checked your GPR or GPs? Getting a 'Wait-to-Start" light?

I'm sure someone else will jump in with more suggestions.

I'm not familiar with GPR or Gp's.

The truck starts fine in the cold plugged in or not, the issue I have is with the smoking which it has never done up until recently.
