WasteGate Unplug??

I know this may sound stupid, but I have seen several people on here and in there description it states that they have unpluged there wastegate. Does anyone know the Pros and Cons of this? I am very interested. Please inform if possible. Thanks

Do a search.. but to answer your question in my opinion. i did it earlier this week. More boost ya maybe a lil, noisier i noticed, and not really quicker.

Definitly need to have gauges ot do this becuase depending on your tunes it can and will overboost.

It makes more power, quicker response, less smoke and lower EGT's
