Code Retrieval Without Scan Tool?
Can the codes be pulled via key/dashboard on a 2000 F250 with using a scan tool. I know it can be done on Chrysler, not sure about Ford.
If it can be done, please outline procedure.

No, unfortunately you're going to have to use a scanner
 (I've counted those flashes in a Chrysler dash too...)And, to make things worse, you need a "special" scanner not one of those cheap OBDII/Can units you can get for around $50.00
