exhaust uptube upgrade

I have my 4x4 f350 at the local ford dealer having the trans replaced n they say that they have found an exhaust leak on the uptubes and could replace them while they have the trans out for 355 plus tax. My question is should I let them replace it or is there a better product on the market that I could buy and not have this problem again and how hard would it be for me to fix. any cheaper ways to fix.
