HPOP leak, oil ferry plug

I'm new and I posted this on the wrong site, here goes it again. Leak under HPOP. All the usual spots, rear plug and quick disconnect lines are dry. There is a plug, 1/2 inch, on the drivers side that angles slightly upward that appears to be the leak. I've researched this for several days and I think it is call the oil ferry plug. Has anyone had any experience with this. You have to go around two lines to get a wrench on it. Mine was loose and took about a 1/4 turn. The leak has appeared to have stopped. I'm worried that this is some type of an adjustment plug because on the hpop diagram they show a spring. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, T

I've heard of that plug being loose before so I dont think it's a major deal, it has an o-ring on it correct?

And never heard of an adjustment on the hpop either.

if that plug was loose and leaking , even if you tightened it it wont be long before it loosens up leaks again or blows out completely , you might get lucky and it holds , as long as you didnt try and pull it out just tighten it you might be o.k., all these plugs ive seen leak caused problems ,because the plug gets loose but does damage to threads from vibration , if it does come loose again ,replace the hpop , do not try and repair , will cause you problems

I think I had the same problem, but mine is angled down. It's right in front of the injection pressure regulator. Anybody know for sure exactly what that is, and whether or not it was okay to tighten? thanks
