code readers

Hey guys make sure that the code reader you buy will work on ford psd. I bought a actron obd ll model CP9135. Plugged it in and didn't have any codes, said to myself great . Loaned it to a neighbor who had to tow his truck home and it read no codes. The neighbor paid a mech to bring over a high dollar code reader and he pulled up 10 or 15 codes. Got in touch with actron and they said their reader wouldn't always work on a psd. They told me who to get in touch with but I can't find their email. I will recontact them and post their response.

Hey clancy1920, I have the CP9135 Autoscanner too and found that it wouldn't read any codes on my PSD. Bought it way before my PSD though. Works great on everything else. The Predator from Diablosport is pretty cool. It reads PSD codes and shows live data streams and is a pretty good tuner as well
