P1272 and intermittent SES light

Well basemen the feedback I received in this thread
SES light intermittent no codes now what?

I went in and Had the CPS replaced since it was under recall anyway. I drove 25 miles to work with no ses light and then drove home thursday afternoon the same way. Again driving down the road at around 50. and the ses light light came on and the wait to start light came on. pushed down on the gas and no throttle response As soon as I took my foot off the pedal and I pushed down again and the truck started going again. and the SES light had went off.

Took it into a guy who works on these rigs and he scanned and found no codes. He then ran a test with his tool that based on the buzzing I heard would be the buzz test. This reported a P1272.

Based on my searching here it would seem the first step is to check the harness going into the drivers side valve cover? Is there something I should check with an ohm meter etc?

Any other thoughts on how I should proceed?
