Question problem with my 7.3

i have a 2002 f250 when its idling it runs rough and smokes white with a little blue but when im driving it does not smoke or run rough only at idle and it doesn't always idle rough or smoke its just off and on it does it. Some people are telling me a injector can be fouled out.

Is it cold out when you start it up? Do you plug it in? That could just be a really hard start

i had blue smoke years ago with my 96er, it was caused by a bad fuel pump.

try this

take off your oil cap and see if it puffs like a train (lots of blowby) most of the time smoke at an idle and miss but runs great driving means something internal because the truck will adjust the fuel to each cylinder so it will run well if no train puffing then probably an injector but i can almost guarentee it will puff .. probably a bad ring
