2003 F250 7,3 starts then dies

New here, and heres my problem
Went to open gate, truck died 10 minutes later started and was able to drive and park it before it died again

showes no codes

Changed cps and it still starts and 5-10 seconds later dies

pulled plug on icp started and died again

changed fuel filter and started and ran a little longer but still died after starting

started again and turned switch off as soon as died loosened filter and fuel spewed out

checked oil hpop resovour and seemed full

again it starts and idles and will rev up but dies after 5-10 seconds

Will the ipr do this Help!!!


forgot to add that vacumn pump on passanger side runs constantly

First, what are you using to scan for codes? A generic OBD-II scanner will often come back No Codes Found when there are actually codes to retrieve. You can not use a "regular scanner" on these trucks.

Next, if you have the right scanner, and there really are no codes, I would be looking a Fuel Delivery (no code gets set if you run the tank dry). The Very best way is to put a mechanical gauge on it and watch what happens over that 5-10secs. But before you go to that trouble, are you at @1/4 tank by any chance?
