03 7.3 cranks but wont start no fuel

Heres the deal, I bought this truck salvaged from a front end hit. The inertia switch didn't need to be reset for the fuel, I verified the plugs get hot using a little starting fluid (it runs). The pump gets 6.4 volts to it but wont run. I jumped the pump off a battery and it runs fine. Relays seem fine, No bad fuses. 2 brand new red top batteries. Any ideas?

noticed tach dosent move while cranking. Is this just for 2002's or could my cam pos sensor be at fault. Anyway to bench test?

was the oil drained out of the hpop system, if theres no oil in the rails the fuel wont get past the injectors. there are plugs that you can pull at the top of the valley and there should be oil in there if not you are going to have to bleed the hpop system.

From what you said, the ONLY thing keeping you from running is inadequate voltage to the fuel pump? Are you sure you've traced everything in that circuit? What about testing/bypassing the inertia switch even though it didn't pop?

Also, supposedly the bad cps = tach-not-moving thing is before '02; 02 and later don't move while cranking regardless. I've got a '99 so I can't verify, just what I read.

there is oil in the hpop. I just jumped the battery with a booster box and it ran, I could feel the fuel in the filter on the top, but still no start. which relay is for the fuel pump. I know its not the one behind the radio. And there are 6 by the drivers fender. Thanks for the help.

I changed the filter, jumped the pump with a booster box, started with a little ether. It ran for a few seconds then nothing. Could it be running off compression and somethings wrong with my injectors or is it possible the CPS? Im stumped

got it running today. I took the pcm to carquest and had it reflashed. My snap on solus pro connected to ABS, Airbag, Body, & 4x4 diagnostics but couldnt connect to PCM. Reinstalled an updated pcm fired right up. Im thinking the previous owner had a programmer on this truck and did a half *** uninstall to reuse it on another truck along with the intake and exhaust.
