Bad HPOP?

My stock 96 F350 sputtered then died. I was able to get it restarted but then it sputtered and died again. I was able to do this several times before it died completely. I changed the cps and lift pump still nothing not even a bark.
I was told it could be the hpop any way to test it? Thanks, I'm new to desiels any help would be appreciated.

My Truck is doin the same thing. It will usually start after sitting a few minutes. Runs for a time, than stalls again. It does this either driving or at a idle. I have a 99' F250 with a 7.3L

It ended up being my IDM. Luckily I have a friend with a 96 PSD and was able to use his truck to trouble shoot my problem.
