Angry Problems problems problems

I went up the road to get take out with no issues then on the way back the power steering went but only when i turn right, left turn is fine when i parked the truck it was flexing the smallest amount ever driver side front up, dunno if that is of any relevance. Please help

not that i can see but it is dark here in England will check tomorrow morning, could the pump just give up without warning?

If it works one way and not the other it's usually a steering gear. Raise the front tires and remove the drag link from the pitman arm and see if the wheels move freely side to side.

Not the pump if it works one way, it's the valve in the steering box. You need a new or re-con gear box, and if it's right side drive I'm glad you don't have my Visa card!!

The side the driver sits on in the UK and Down Under. Not sure but I bet the steering gear box is a special casting if it's bolted on the right side frame rail.

Yeah it sounds like it's the steering box but make sure it isn't a hard part like a ball joint or bound U-joint or something. Do as forddieseldoctor said and remove the drag link from the pitman arm and make sure you have smooth operation of the balljoints ect.

Adfields looking at his picture it looks like it is the standard left hand drive.
